International seminar “Maximize mobility opportunities on Erasmus+ projects, Horizon European Program & Polish Academic Exchange Programs” with Kraków University of Economics (UEK), Poland

In the context of deepening global integration, effectively leveraging international academic cooperation and exchange programs plays a pivotal role in improving the quality of education and research. With the aim of sharing practical insights on enhancing international student mobility, particularly in Poland, the University of Economics and Law, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (UEL), was honored to welcome Prof. Sylwia Krzyżek-Liburska from the Kraków University of Economics (UEK), Poland, to a seminar held on February 20, 2025.

 

 

Alongside the participation of Dr Le Van Hinh, Head of the Department of Cooperation and Development, and UEL lecturers, the seminar centered around student mobility opportunities within three flagship academic programs: Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, and the Polish Academic Exchange Programs. Drawing from her extensive expertise, Prof. Sylwia shared valuable insights into the opportunities, challenges, and support mechanisms that can help UEL lecturers and students make the most of international study, research, and exchange programs.

 

 

Prof. Sylwia began the seminar with an overview of UEK - one of the largest economics universities in Poland, with nearly 100 years of history. The university currently partners with over 200 institutions worldwide and offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs fully taught in English.

Concluding the event, Prof. Sylwia expressed her sincere appreciation for the warm welcome she received at UEL and in Vietnam. She highlighted her visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels as a memorable experience during her trip. The seminar offered new inspiration and practical perspectives to UEL’s faculty and students as they pursue their academic journeys in a globalized context.
