In celebrating the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024), the Department of Cooperation & Development organized an immersive city tour under the theme ‘HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR: THE VIEW & THE VOICE’ as part of the UEL Credit Transfer Program of the second semester, academic year 2023 - 2024 at the University of Economics and Law, VNUHCM.

The tour brought together exchange students from France and Poland with their Vietnamese buddies from UEL for a day of exploration, cultural exchange, and camaraderie around Sài Gòn. Embracing the true spirit of ‘Saigonese’, the students embarked on an action-packed and unforgettable weekend.

"This trip has been an incredible and unforgettable experience," shared Krzysztof Kędzior, a Polish student, with infectious enthusiasm. "I've seen Saigon from a completely new perspective, savored unique cuisine, and connected with international students, forming lasting friendships. I'll truly cherish the beautiful memories I made on this journey."

Within a single day, the tour left an indelible mark on every student. It's hoped that more such meaningful cultural exchange programs will be organized to showcase Vietnam's beauty to friends from around the globe.
