"Wherever I go, there is always green at UEL"
This is a sentiment shared by Su Myat Moe from Yangon University of Economics, Myanmar, during her first visit to the University of Economics and Law (UEL).
On the morning of July 11th, as part of the AUN Summer Program 2024 organized by VNUHCM, 68 students from Southeast Asian member countries visited UEL to engage in environmental discussions and cultural activities with UEL students.
During their visit, the participants engaged in discussions, group work, and games centered around the theme "Climate Change: Impacts, Solutions, and Youth Engagement." The international students also enjoyed the UEL campus tour, allowing them to immerse themselves in the green of the campus while appreciating nature.
Activities in the AUN Summer Program provide opportunities for program participants and UEL students to interact, connect, and share their perspectives on climate change and potential solutions. This experience aims to raise environmental awareness and foster a sense of social responsibility among the students.
During the 2-week program , the AUN Summer delegation will work with lecturers and experts from VNUHCM to discuss various aspects of climate change and the role of youth in addressing these issues. The students will also stay at VNUHCM Dormitory B and participate in cultural, artistic, and sports exchanges with students from other member universities.
