DIVE Project: A 4-day training seminar on "Digital Education and Quality" at UEL

DIVE is a three-year project to enhance digital inclusion in higher education institutions to support higher education institutions in Vietnam to develop digital transformation in education.

From November 25 - 28, at the University of Economics and Law, Vietnam National University-HCM, representatives of 14 universities that are project members participated in training sessions to improve the readiness of universities in Vietnam in digital transformation.

The main purpose of the working content is to create conditions for member universities to exchange with experts from organizations and universities from Europe about opportunities, challenges and tools to help enhance digital education capacity and training quality assurance at universities.

In addition, the project focuses on building digital transformation and modernization of higher education through training courses and study tours, developing a strategic plan for digital transformation education in Spain and Belgium. It is expected that in February 2025, project members will have a series of training courses in Spain.

DIVE is a project funded by the European Community through the Erasmus+ program with a total budget of 794,524 EUR, to support Vietnamese universities in developing high-quality digital education as part of the modernized higher education, implemented in 3 years, from February 2024 to January 2027.

The project has the participation of 11 Vietnamese universities including: University of Economics and Law, Vietnam National University VNUHCM, National Economics University, Can Tho University, Tay Nguyen University, Nha Trang University, Thai Nguyen University of Education, Ho Chi Minh City Open University, University of Technical Education - University of Da Nang, Industrial University of Vinh, University of Agriculture and Forestry - Hue and Central University French-Vietnamese Training Center Management (CFVG); along with 03 universities in Europe: ULB University - Belgium, Alicante University and UNED - Spain.

Within the framework of the project, members will participate in many activities such as:

- Training programs, workshops and study tours involving all members of the organization (senior and middle management, support staff and trainers) to enhance the capacity of the team.

- Accompanying the development of strategic plans for each university on Digital Immersion (DE).

- With the support of DE centers, organizations and universities will implement the plan.

- At the national level, national roundtables will be organized to raise awareness about the contribution of digital transformation to the modernization of higher education and discuss important topics, promoting digital transformation at Vietnamese universities.
