Scientific workshop "Karl Marx and modern times"

            On the 200th anniversary of the birth of Karl Marx (Marx), leader of the proletariat, one of the great men of humanity, Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh Central propaganda and training commission liaised with City committee of the organize a national scientific workshop "Marx and modern times". The workshop aims to associate scientists, managers, and domestic and foreign political activists have researched and evaluated the heritage and the Marxist influence on humanity through the historical and modern stages, as well as the historical and practical values of Marxism for Vietnam.

            The workshop focused on discussion on the following main contents:

1) Great legacies and Marxist contributions to human history;

2) The vitality of Marxism in this day and age;

3) Experiences of manipulating Marxism in history;

4) Research and apply Marxism in Vietnam in a new context.

            - Location: Hall D, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM (No. 12 Dinh Tien Hoang, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1)

- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Minh Tuan & TS. Pham Dinh Dat - The vitality of Marxist Leninism in this day and age.

- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Huu Toan - Marxists and Marxist philosophy in the contemporary world
- Dr. Nguyen Anh Quoc - The human problem in the Economic and Philosophic Manuscripts of 1844

- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Luan - The sustainable value of Marxist for the development of a socialist-oriented market economy in Vietnam     

- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phi Manh Hong - Ownership issue: From reality to reflect on the concept of K. Marx
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Chi Hai & Master. Pham My Duyen - From Marxist viewpoints on inequality to the application of the Communist Party of Vietnam and current practice

- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Ngoc Thach - Contributing to understanding the Marxist Heritage through the approach of some Western Marxists from the 90s of the twentieth century to the present    

- Brigadier, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Duc Khien – The foundations confirm the intense vitality of Marxism in this day and age
- Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hung Hau - Applying creativity and developing Marxism in Ho Chi Minh
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Nghia – Karl Marx and Marxist theory in this day and age
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Huong - Marxist view of fair distribution in "Critique of the Gotha program" and using that view in Vietnam  

- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Tuan - Theoretical distribution according to labor of Karl Marx with policy reforms salaries for civil servants and employees

- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Chuan - Karl Marx is accompanying humanity in the 21st century.
