French - Vietnamese students' coffee talk with topic "Halloween party"

An interested cultural exchange program between students from Panthéon-Assas University – Paris II and those from University of Economics and Law was held at Ozone Café, Hoang Dieu 2 Street, Thu Duc District, HoChiMinh City. The program started at 3.30pm on Thursday, October 23rd 2014.

This program provides both Vietnamese and French students withvery good opportunitiesto learn about their cultures and to practice English skill after thousands of stressful school works. The program took place in a cheerful and lively atmosphere with the activities as follow:

- Atbeginning of the program, UEL’s students warmed up the program with a vibrant beat boxingperformance as well as plenty of dynamic games. All students energeticallyparticipated in the program. By the amazing creativity and spectacular collaboration among team members, the opening took place extremely excited.

- After the opening, the program continued with the discussion between French and Vietnamese students. Many questions were raisedto highlight the special things of each country. For next part of the program, a lot of games requiring participants to work in team more and more attract so much participating of the students that all participants seemed more and more confident and friendly.

- The third part of the program is cultural art performance. The atmosphere of the program became mellow with a very-feelings vocal of a French student and rustic guitar accompaniment. Finally, representative of each team are required to summary and show their groups’ ideas about all parts in the program before coming to the very last activity of the program – photo taking.



Thanks to the energetic participants, the cultural exchange programwas very successful. UEL’s students havemade very good impression on French students. Even though the time was limited, all students had better understanding on the cultures of two countries. We hope that all of you will have meaningful time of learning in Vietnam.
